    The two overall aims of the OTLA programme were to: a) Improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in the FE and training sector b) Support increased professionalism for practitioners in the sector.

    What is this about and what were the main findings: 

    The 4 particpating projects (Bishops Auckland College, Basingstoke College of Technology, City lit and Heart of Worcestershire College) have adopted a 5 stage model to pilot sth student-staff partnership model: preparation, recruitment, induction, partnership action and sustainability. The findings were that the projects impacted on staf adopting new technologies for teaching and learning assessment,, students felt more involved and valued and improved understanding and dialogue between students and staff.
