Based on interviews with refugee ESOL learners, this collection illustrates the experiences, needs and aspirations of refugee ESOL learners. Providers, practitioners and support workers preparing to work with refugee learners can use the profiles to develop their understanding of refugee ESOL learners.
This screening pack contains guidance and tools to help ESOL practitioners and non-specialists to identify refugee learners at ‘New to ESOL’ level, who may benefit from additional early integration language support.
