This podcast is a short taster session featuring David Hughes, Chief Executive of AoC, and Julie Nerney, Chair of AoC Board and Chair of Greater Brighton Metropolitan College.  It covers how boards can be successful, how they can measure that success, and opportunities on the horizon for colleges.

This review of policy and practice by stakeholders, including extensive, enquiry oriented engagement with practitioners, examines what more can be done to ensure individuals have the opportunity to increase clarity and transparency and address power imbalances that, left unchecked, can lead to exploitation. 

This publication, by the Learning Consortium, presents findings of highly effective practice in TLA and to identify examples of the ‘wow factor’ across a range of providers. While celebrating and showcasing are the primary objectives, the aim is to present these as exemplars that will facilitate the transfer of effective practice.

This resource comprises the report and resources developed by one of two Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by Equality North East in 2009-10. The aim of this project was to identify examples of positive action and effective equality practice within the North East's Learning Providers and then compile a report of these case studies in order to raise awareness. Core components of the project included research into case studies, completion of a report, and dissemination of information through networks and an event.
