This Outstanding, Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA) project, delivered in 2016-2017, was a collaboration with seven partners: Active Humber, Foresight, Goodwin, Mencap, Preston Road Women’s Centre, In-House Training and the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The aim was to improve how ‘Prevent/Fundamental British Values’ content and requirements were delivered to vulnerable, SEND (special educational needs and disability) and disadvantaged learners.

These video logs or ‘vlogs’ are by deaf employees talking about their experiences in the world of work. They are designed to help deaf learners think about their own aspirations for work and how to survive in it.
A template personal profile that deaf people can download and complete to give employers information about reasonable adjustments they might need in the workplace or for work experience. The zip file also includes a sample completed passport.
