City College Coventry & Stratford-upon-Avon College: Embedding a commercial approach to business sales

This project sought to develop and embed a central sales team, which would have a portfolio drawn from across two colleges. This included the establishment of a commercial KPI model as used in media advertising. In doing so the colleges could move to a more commercial approach to marketing, in order to make efficiency gains and provide customers with whole business solutions drawn from a wider portfolio of products and services.

Harington and partners: Managing the personalised learner journey online

It goes on to summarise the cost savings, benefits, and learning from the project.

Oaklands College with ACER: Recruiting effectively and attracting talent into FE

This project sought to develop and implement a sustainable, innovative, technology-based, staff recruitment and selection process. The strategy involved the creation of a regional talent pool of ‘FE-ready’ candidates, to be shared with other colleges, to reduce costs of recruitment advertising and agency fees.

Heart of England International Academy & Stratford-Upon-Avon College: Building Digital Repositories using the Apple iTunes U platform

The key goal of this project was to move from multiple in-house digital repositories to a central repository of digital content with global appeal. The case study sets out the approach and the lessons learnt.
