The primary aim of this project was to collaboratively identify and implement effective cultural change agents, projects and processes which would deliver a 5-10% reduction in its energy use and move the college towards its longer term target of a 25% reduction in its carbon emissions by 2016.
This project aimed to develop operating models for the management of curriculum designers and writers in the learning and skills sector to support the expansion of e-learning. It highlights the important changes taking place in FE and their impact on the role of the teacher, with new models of management and new job descriptions emerging for the development of a shared blended learning curriculum and virtual teams.
This project sought to embed sustainable procurement skills and knowledge within colleges in London and the East of England, ensuring EU compliance and mitigating the risk of legal challenge. The project delivered total savings of over £330,000 at the time of publication – surpassing the target of £80,000, resulting in a 16.5 x ROI.
