This report analyses offender learning workforce data from the academic year 2014-15. Prisons and contractors were contacted by the Ministry of Justice as part of the Coates Review of Offender Learning during November 2015 and asked to provide data to the Education and Training Foundation. Data was requested in a form similar to that of the Staff Individualised Record which covers workforce data for the education and training sector.
This research project sought to explore the relationship between sustainability and economic growth and how this relationship should be strengthened and developed. The report is based on a survey of practitioners across the FE and skills sector. The research explored sustainability skills, their relevance to employment, employers and business, and the opportunities challenges and barriers to the FE and skills sector in leading the development of those skills.
