The toolkit for creating accessible learning materials, created by JISC Techdis, is designed to enable teachers and trainers to create effective, engaging and accessible learning materials for their learners.
The JISC Techdis service has worked with Kevin Carey (HumanITy) to create this guidance on reasonable adjustments for visually impaired learners.
Through collaboration the colleges aimed to achieve a 5% increase in success rates for courses for 16-18 learners and save £12,000 per year through reductions in the cost of key back-office functions such as admissions and business planning.
