The aim of this case study, suported by parternshps with Connexions, the Peer Review and Development group and the Parent and Pupil Partnerhsip Unit, was to reverse the downward trend in learner numbers from the Pakistani community through understanding and responding to their needs.
This is a report of the Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by the National Star College in 2009-10. The scope of the project was to research and identify potential barriers to disabled young people and adult learners from BME backgrounds in accessing learning and educational opportunities in the Further Educational and training sector.
