This outstanding teaching learning and assessment (OTLA) technical  project explored how assessment practice and employer engagement could be used differently in the delivery of engineering and construction programmes. The use of problem based learning was trialed as an approach to developing fledgling engineers.

Project partners included New College Stamford, Leicester College, Nottingham College, The Uniper Training Academy and Rail Forum East Midlands. This case study was produced in December 2017.
