ACDhelp Limited: Virtualisation of the administration function

import-pdf:845

This case study shows how technology has led to systems and procedures at ACDhelp becoming mean, lean and auditable. Repetitive administration jobs have been subcontracted or automated, assessor reporting time has been reduced and there is easier access to client data. As a direct result, administration costs have fallen and management time has been freed up.

A4e Limited: Virtual World Champions - Technology to enhance communication, quality and the learner experience

import-pdf:844

This project looked to build on A4e’s initial scoping of real-time 3D internet as a teaching & learning tool by consulting trainers and learners in its national Vox Centres. Ideas gathered from staff were translated into a methodology that developers at Teesside University’s d lab could interpret and build a test area for the improved induction and assessment of Vox Centre learners.

City College Coventry & Stratford-upon-Avon College: Embedding a commercial approach to business sales

import-pdf:839

This project sought to develop and embed a central sales team, which would have a portfolio drawn from across two colleges. This included the establishment of a commercial KPI model as used in media advertising. In doing so the colleges could move to a more commercial approach to marketing, in order to make efficiency gains and provide customers with whole business solutions drawn from a wider portfolio of products and services.
