This project sought to develop and implement a sustainable, innovative, technology-based, staff recruitment and selection process. The strategy involved the creation of a regional talent pool of ‘FE-ready’ candidates, to be shared with other colleges, to reduce costs of recruitment advertising and agency fees.
The key goal of this project was to move from multiple in-house digital repositories to a central repository of digital content with global appeal. The case study sets out the approach and the lessons learnt.
Through this project the college sought to secure efficiency savings and more choice by offering students the option of online payment (OLP). OLP offers scope for further process savings by integration with College databases, and service improvements. In addition, the virtual shop created provides cost-effective opportunities to increase sales.
These are reports and/or case studies of projects that were delivered under the Leadership in Technology (LiT) and Regional Collaboration Fund (RCF) grant-aided programmes managed by LSIS.
