Health and social care: vocational maths guide

This guide is one of a series aimed at practitioners from a wide range of providers, including FE colleges, independent learning providers and those working in the Secure Estate, who support post-16 vocational learners to develop their maths skills up to and including level 2. This guide focuses on the maths embedded in Health and social care.

CAVTL One year on review

St Johns School and College: Raising aspirations - creating opportunities to enable more young people with LDD to effectively access Apprenticeships

This resource comprises the report and resources developed by the Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by St John’s College. The project developed an advisory and support pack for use by Independent Specialist Providers (ISPs) to enable them to ensure that young people with LDD are able to access Apprenticeships where appropriate. The pack has been designed to meet the needs of apprenticeship providers and their networks of employers.

Cut the Carbon: Fareport Training

This sustainable development project aimed to reduce carbon emissions in apprenticeship provision with the use of free and inexpensive technology: This was a research project - in partnership with Vocational Innovation and the ALP Hampshire and Isle of Wight Network - to assess the impact of the use of freely available software solutions and inexpensive hardware, to deliver remote support, learning and assessment to apprentices in the work place, on an organisation's carbon emissions.
