A comprehensive set of CPD guides for practitioners designed originally by the Standards Unit to improve the delivery of e2e, that also contains activities for learners. Whilst Foundation Learning has superseded e2e, the vast majority of the content of these resources is still relevant.
A set of resources that helps the practitioner to critically reflect on how they differentiate between subjective and objective observations. It contains a session plan, guidance notes and supporting materials.
This resource comprises the report and resources developed by an Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by Charnwood Training Group. The main aim of the project was to build a scenario based contingent navigation programme, built up from a video-rich series of modules, as part of a blended learning approach. This was supported by a network of Equality and Diversity Ambassadors created from Charnwood employees. The outputs included nine Charnwood Equality and Diversity Ambassadors undertaking a 4 day training programme and the creation of a mobile phone app for Charnwood staff.
This sustainable development project aimed to reduce carbon emissions in apprenticeship provision with the use of free and inexpensive technology: This was a research project - in partnership with Vocational Innovation and the ALP Hampshire and Isle of Wight Network - to assess the impact of the use of freely available software solutions and inexpensive hardware, to deliver remote support, learning and assessment to apprentices in the work place, on an organisation's carbon emissions. Move On Up: Learning Chunk – Entry 3 numeracy
This project looked at embedding Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) across teaching and learning at the College from a strategic perspective, using the College Teaching and Learning Policy and through the lesson observation process and the associated grading criteria. The project went on to seek to embed ESD across curriculum development and teaching and learning at the College through the observation process.
