Creating accessible learning materials

etf:716

This toolkit is designed to enable teachers and trainers to create effective, engaging and accessible learning materials for their learners. Grouped into eight categories, this collection of guidance and resources merges pedagogical and technical advice where previously these have been scattered over several different channels. The aim is to provide effective resources for Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LLDD). These are also now called resources for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

No Place for Hate

eg:398

Hate crimes and incidents in further and higher education: sexual orientation and gender identity. This report is one of a series of four reports by NUS, which explores the extent and nature of hate incidents among students across the UK. While this report focuses on the experience of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) students, the other reports focus on disabled students, Black* students and students with a religion or belief. The reports are part of a larger project funded by the Home Office to reduce student victimisation.
