This resource comprises the report and resources developed by the Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by St John’s College. The project developed an advisory and support pack for use by Independent Specialist Providers (ISPs) to enable them to ensure that young people with LDD are able to access Apprenticeships where appropriate. The pack has been designed to meet the needs of apprenticeship providers and their networks of employers.

The overall aim of the initiative was to support staff and learners to tackle real and perceived tensions between lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equalities, and religion and belief equalities, in FE colleges. The project focused on dialogue as a means to increase and improve inter-personal communication between learners relating to the subject of faith and sexuality.

The overall aim was to improve equality and diversity practice across a network of 20 voluntary community sector (VCS) learning providers in the Humber sub-region. A Quality Improvement Network was launched and questionnaire created and completed by 20 VCS delivery partners.

This project focused on how best to promote LGBT equality in line with race, gender and disability equality within an adult and community education setting in Brighton & Hove. It involved consultation with adult learners, staff, volunteers, other learning providers and the wider community on LGBT equality, identify key issues and concerns, and developing a whole organisation approach to promoting LGBT inclusion.

This resource comprises the report and resources developed by an Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by Charnwood Training Group. The main aim of the project was to build a scenario based contingent navigation programme, built up from a video-rich series of modules, as part of a blended learning approach. This was supported by a network of Equality and Diversity Ambassadors created from Charnwood employees. The outputs included nine Charnwood Equality and Diversity Ambassadors undertaking a 4 day training programme and the creation of a mobile phone app for Charnwood staff.

The project aimed to make teachers trainers and employers feel supported by being able to share ideas and use active learning approaches to embed equality and diversity when teaching or training others. This project aimed to develop an online resource to help Classroom Support Assistants (CSAs) to broaden their awareness of E&D to enable them to increase personalisation of support and provide more effective support for all learners and increase their own job satisfaction.
