What is this about and what were the main findings:
The project identified a set of attributes associated with the use of coaching and mentoring as distinct development techniques/approaches, and then compared the two with the aim of finding crossover. The similarities identified were the existence of: confidentiality, empathy, enthusiasm, passion, a focus on establishing patient relationships, the aim of being motivational, and the need for strong communication in general, and in particular, of hope and optimism.
