Principal focus of the project:

With the launch of online Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) at ELATT, the aim was to ensure that learners and tutors had the tools and support they needed to formulate goals and to see value in the process.

What is this about and what were the main findings:

The aim of the project was to get learners to see the value in goal setting by relating this to their lives and aspirations. This would form the basis for further skills development in supporting learners to break down larger goals into SMART steps. A variety of interventions were used to encourage goal setting including using motivational reading texts. The project has enabled ELATT to take their time and really reflect upon the purpose of goal setting and how it should fit in with the ethos of the organisation.
