Outdoor and practical. The target audience for this module will be the E2E learner who is keen to work in outdoor practical settings, such as land-based, waste management, portering, basic construction, animal care and caretaking. Topics include health and safety, working ith others, using maps and plans and following instructions.
Engineering and mechanical. This module will be useful to any learner who wants to work in a practical workshop setting where they use machinery, with topics such as working within tolerances, reading gauges and understanding units of measure.
This module will be useful to a wide range of learners working or considering working in retail settings or service industry settings, such as hospitality, catering, leisure and beauty. Topics include taking bookings, communicating with customers and health and safety.
The office and business environment. This module will be useful to learners who are working or considering working in any office setting, including topics such as communication, filing, telephone work.
This module looks at some of the personal and social skills that young people need in order to become independent adults in society, in contexts such as accommodation, budgeting (financial literacy) and the law.
