Woodspeen Training: Be prepared, ITs coming! Using Virtual Classrooms as a staff training tool, whilst also highlighting its potential to course delivery staff

This project sought to develop use of virtual classrooms (VCs) to deliver in-house staff training and tutor meetings to departments and centres around Yorkshire, raising the staff’s knowledge, ensuring best practice is shared and highlighting the vast opportunities for learners, delivery staff and the organisation.

Middlesbrough College: The Technology Enhanced Mentoring & Training (TEMT) project

This project explored innovative ways to develop and deliver staff training and mentoring. The rationale for the project was to look at ways that the institutional approach to staff training and development could be changed in order to make it more effective which in turn would have a positive impact on teaching and learning across the college.

Mantra Learning: Get Skilled – Get Noticed – Get On: digital marketing in employability programmes

In 2011 Mantra commissioned a review of the processes associated with its Job Gym employability programmes, focusing on the touch points with learners, the administrative processes and data flows associated with these programmes. This project was a pilot to assess the capabilities of Digital Marketing technologies in contributing to improvements in this expanding business area.

A4e Limited: Sector Snapshots - using technology to enhance learner experience and team working

A4e wanted to narrow the gap between the quality of experience their learners receive and create an enhanced team spirit amongst delivery staff, by creating a resource to reflect the key employer expectations in three popular sectors – Health & Social Care, Retail and Hospitality & Catering.
