Work shadowing at JobCentre Plus by staff from Knowsley Community College
Cambridgeshire Library Learning Centre aimed to use ICT and social media to enable the sharing of information and knowledge across the countryside area of Cambridgeshire known as “the Fens”. The sharing of information would aid in the increase of productivity levels and address social isolation through the use of social media.
City College Plymouth aimed to engage new learners from disaffected and deprived backgrounds to become college students. It worked with community based iorganisations, such as the Shekinah mission (an organisation supporting homeless people) delivering learning at their premises, and then identified progression opportunities to join a mainstream college course.
Taking part in the Social Enterprise Ambassadors' Programme, Longden looked to increase collaboration between themselves as a learning and skills provider and the West Midlands social enterprise sector. Further, Longden wished to to build their capacity to create a Social Enterprise by refining the work that they do within the five Local Authorities to create self sustaining activities and contributing to a philosophy of doing more for less.

To develop a delivery model for a skills and personal development programme for those moving into new tenancies - with a focus on people in supported accommodation and on those in housing need.
The Passport to Housing programme will benefit vulnerable adults and young people in housing need who are wanting to secure and maintain a tenancy and will add value to the implementation of the local Choice Based Letting (CBL) system
