This study considers the factors that influence remote learning students, and the teaching and learning methods that could support the development of critical thinking skills.

What is this about and what were the main findings: 

Considering connectivist thinking, 30 Level 3 Travel & Tourism students and 6 teachers were sampled in this study. The findings suggested that remote learning had been viewed as a temporary measure, rather than an opportunity to use technology as a pedagogical tool for developing independent critical thinking and collaboration.
