This project aimed to build confidence in new learners by enabling them to get to know one another better through collaborative working approaches to induction.

What is this about and what were the main findings: 

During lockdown, it had been noted that the learners who had made most progress, had formed friendships prior to the move online. To meet the needs of new students, the project used MS Teams breakout rooms, Class Notebook and Jamboard, to support tutorial and group sessions and collaborative activities. The project reported that these strategies had been successful in achieving their aims.
