The project aimed to develop a transferable model of blended, distance learning for a General Engineering course, in order to extend the impact and benefit to other sectors, deliverers and employers, with an initial focus on the engineering and digital industries with other sectors to be incorporated as their needs were identified.

What is this about and what were the main findings: 

Use of the blended learning approach has enabled the pilot group of learners to make good progress on their course and successfully achieve the expected two modules. The use of blended learning within the college and its partner organisations has increased significantly, with high levels of learner satisfaction.
