Principal focus of the project:

The project's focus was on setting up a collaborative, innovative process for improving teaching and learning which would be owned by teachers and be embedded in their practice on an ongoing basis. The project aimed to achieve this via a collaborative enquiry model of professional development.

What is this about and what were the main findings:

The project established a baseline, designed and agreed a collaborative enquiry framework and identified suitable peers for the pilot, and set up reflective coaching pairs to explore the successes and challenges of current practice and innovate. Feedback indicated that participants were more engaged in reflecting on a relevant focus of teaching and learning, and found the feedback generated helpful and developmental.
