Mantra Learning: Get Skilled – Get Noticed – Get On: digital marketing in employability programmes

In 2011 Mantra commissioned a review of the processes associated with its Job Gym employability programmes, focusing on the touch points with learners, the administrative processes and data flows associated with these programmes. This project was a pilot to assess the capabilities of Digital Marketing technologies in contributing to improvements in this expanding business area.

An evaluation of collaborative development projects on getting people into work and Apprenticeships

This is a report of an evaluation of LSIS provider-led collaborative development projects on ‘Getting People into Work’ and ‘Apprenticeships’. The development projects ran from November 2011 to July 2012 and the evaluation took place between July and December 2012. Each project was coordinated by a lead provider, who recruited partner providers to work together to achieve the project objectives, supported by an LSIS Associate.

Remploy partnership: Generating positive employment outcomes

Each project was coordinated by a lead provider, who recruited partner providers to work together to achieve the project objectives. The Remploy partnership included three Colleges, a work based learning provider and Remploy, a supported employment provider, working together to generate positive employment outcomes for young people with disabilities in Yorkshire and Humberside. They developed partnerships to support employment.

Derby College partnership: Best practice in delivering sector-based work academies

Each project was coordinated by a lead provider, who recruited partner providers to work together to achieve the project objectives. The Derby College partnership included nine providers, who looked at provision at 'Employment World @ Derby College’ provision, which aims to equip Jobcentre Plus (JCP) claimants with the skills required to re-join the workforce.

Bournville College partnership: Engaging with Employability

The Bournville College partnership project involved four Colleges, two work based learning providers and, for phase one, an adult education provider. The Learning Community - Embedding and delivering English and maths in employability training
