The Inclusive Employer Induction Tolkit was produced by City College Norwich, ETF's Centre for Excellence in SEND (community). This toolkit shares the current practices at CCN in delivering induction activities to employers of placements and apprenticeships.
The tools and techniques within the toolkit are derived from tried and tested tools that have been used extensively with employers. Each tool has a generic description and can be adapted by you in accordance with the requirements of the organisation.

An OTLA project by Community Learning Skills at Kent Adult Education Service that investigated how to turn dependent and unconfident learners into empowered learners that recognised their own learning, through the development of appropriate strategies to encourage independence.
An OTLA project by Morley College that aimed to develop a bank of teaching and learning resources for Entry Level 3 to Level 2 Functional Skills English adult students that would embed core English skills, such as reading for meaning and speaking to communicate, with themed lessons on wellbeing and emotional resilience.
An OTLA project by City Lit exploring whether using the cognitive profiles of English for Life learners could help to improve teaching and learning strategies.
An OTLA project by Wirral Lifelong Learning to encourage learners to be confident in planning and agreeing their own targets for learning.
