Embedding ‘Prevent’ in teaching, learning and assessment - Humber Learning Consortium

This Outstanding, Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA) project, delivered in 2016-2017, was a collaboration with seven partners: Active Humber, Foresight, Goodwin, Mencap, Preston Road Women’s Centre, In-House Training and the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The aim was to improve how ‘Prevent/Fundamental British Values’ content and requirements were delivered to vulnerable, SEND (special educational needs and disability) and disadvantaged learners.

Innovation in FE

This report is based on fifteen interviews conducted by the team into the topic of Innovation. They reviewed practices and successes both inside the FE sector and outside it noting the factors that seem to determine success. Three reports written by the contributors analyse the lessons learnt and point to ways in which Innovation might be improved in the FE sector.

Organisational Resilience toolkit

Description: Based on an organisational resilience tool developed for the Australian Government, as part of the Strategic Leadership Programme, it was adapted to use with a college, and BASVIC trialled it as part of a management away day. This report shows  the outcomes of the evaluation and identifies how useful the tool was in identifying actions.
