The case study illustrates how all Moulton College students undertake commercial experience at an appropriate standard, typically amounting to a day a week, supported through a number of commercial enterprises within the college which generate business benefits and community services as well as learning. This is set within the ethos of Moulton to train and produce students who are “work-ready”. This approach has led to the commercial enterprises contributing over 11% of the College’s annual turnover of nearly £28.5m.

These are examples of Digital Work Portfolios used in the Leap2Work model at West Cheshire College. It details the units that were covered in Work skills. This was used to collate the evidence for the units when the learners went into their work-placement.
