The focus of the project was linking employability skills for young people to the removal of barriers to learning related to equality and diversity.

What is this about and what were the main findings:

This project involved a registered charity working with a community college on a website focussed on further education. The aim of the project was to help learners to explore and mitigate their barriers to learning and to increase their awareness of equality and diversity through developing employability skills. The delivery of this project had a strong impact on emotional learning that enabled attitudinal development. This is expected to ensure attitudes and behaviours are better matched to the needs of employers and society at large.
