This project aimed to reach the 'forgotten' learners, no longer able to access classroom-based learning and on the wrong side of the digital divide.
This project aimed to provide access to learning for the 'forgotten' learners who could no longer access classroom-based learning and lacked digital solutions.
Learning, Guidance and Support Officers (LGSO) were used to identify learners who were unable or unwilling to engage online and had a preference for classroom-based learning. A 6-week non-accredited programme of one-to-one informal interventions around Maths was developed, using reflective logs, to address this. The project reported that 92% of learners had progressed onto accredited learning or future career development.
