A case study of a project that aimed to improve the quality of teaching learning and assessment (TLA) to improve target setting for learners and strengthen the focus on maths and correcting English grammatical errors.
The project focused on mentoring, CPD, training, workshops, and other support to allow participants to see the bigger picture and challenges. The project also used RARPA (recognising and recording progress and achievment), peer pairs with observations and professional conversation to highlight good practice and further areas for development.
The project promoted a more joined up approach, greater ownership of RARPA, the successful used of SpaG (spelling, punctuation and grammer) the joint development of practice. or teams from different services came together to develop, share and pilot new ideas, as well as mutually beneficial learning through the expansion of peer-led models across services.
