This project focused on providing a live brief, developed with the partner robotics organisation, which gave a mechanism by which learners from ICT and Digital Media pathways could work on an integrated project together, reflecting how professionals work together in the industry. This involved industry professionals in training staff in relevant skills and programming techniques.

What is this about and what were the main findings: 

The project created positive peer pressure to attend and achieve and an improvement in grades among participants. Staff gained relevant industry skills, which also increased confidence, motivation, and enthusiasm for new subject delivery methods. The employer also developed their knowledge of other markets that feed into future product development.
