This research investigates how the use of false-assumption stories can develop learner’s debating skills in safe and non-judgmental learning spaces.

What is this about and what were the main findings: 

The new qualification for LGBT Inclusion in the Workplace Level 2 was the pedagogical vehicle employed for this deep dive intervention into challenging negative assumptions with thirty multi-age Health & Social Care learners. The development of resources - in consultation with students - ultimately led to the creation of a LGBT board game, which became one of the most important features of the pilot.
