Increasing the number and diversity of young people willing and able to enter the construction industry in London was the primary aim of this project. Constructions is a sector that has and will continue to have considerable employment opportunities and skills needs, not just in London but across the country. The leadership exchange illustrates how the college is working more closely with employers to develop its provision and ensure both adults and young people have the skills that meet the current needs of economy; opening up access routes for women and ensuring that more of their students would either gain employment or enhance their skills within employment.
