This project investigated ways to embed Maths vocationally to support the development of learners' wider skills for a new 21st Century workforce.
What is this about and what were the main findings:
By interviewing employers, students and teachers, it was decided to develop and test content for topics that crossed over a range of vocational areas and needed little specialist knowledge: basic accountancy, invoicing, ordering, billing, and working out hourly rates and time sheets. Early findings showed a positive response from learners.
