The project had three core objectives: to improve all stakeholders' understanding of Traineeship programmes and how it could be promoted; to create documentation based on staff experiences to support recruiters to ensure that prospective learners are assessed in relation to the eligibility criteria, and; to develop good practice recommendations in designing learning programmes that meet the aims of the programme

What is this about and what were the main findings: 

The project highlighted the need to improve the status of trianeeships, to promote an accurate view of the offer and spuport available (especially among parents and Jobcentres and Income Support colleagues) and to address misalignment between traineeships, financial suport/ incentives and government targets .
