A mini-book with some reading, writing, speaking, listening and spelling activities focused on common items found in homes in the UK. This activity pack, aimed at pre-entry and entry level ESOL/literacy learners was originally housed on the talent website.

This can be used as a resource to support vocabulary building and spelling tasks. It can also be used for discussion and as a listening resource for pronunciation and spelling. There is also a section which focuses on questions and sentences (punctuation). There are some bright pictures (which can be made into flashcards) and a fun tactile activity. Students can also use something like an Argos catalogue or their own photos to produce mini-posters of their own homes and can even be encouraged to give small presentations based on their posters.
