Walsall Adult and Community College exists to meet the learning and training needs of adults in Walsall and to strengthen their prospects for independent living, employment and self-employment and is committed to stimulating enterprise activities with our client group. The organisation has a social enterprise ‘WacciCrafts’ which involves the creation, distribution and retail of a range of products from food to fashion to jewellery. Following involvement in the Social Enterprise Ambassadors programme, the organisation now has 8 members of staff who are ambassadors for WacciCrafts and social enterprise activities. The group won a Walsall Lifelong Learning Alliance - Rubery Owen Learning with Technology Award in March 2011.
