This resource comprises the report and resources developed by the Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by Oakwood Court College in 2009-10. The aims of the project included: understanding the Equality and Diversity Brand in the context of the Independent Specialist College (ISC) sector; determining the contextual constraints impacting upon ISCs widening participation across socio-cultural groupings; researching the apparent gap between the perceived Equality and Diversity Map and the actual terrain in which ISCs operate; identifying equality and diversity best practice across the ISC provision as well as discovering gaps in understanding and attitude affecting practice across the sector; and identifying processes and information sharing methods that focus on equality and diversity practice in line with the latest Equality Framework. The resources included are the final report and a project report.
