Principal focus of the project:

The ETF commissioned the Institute for Employment Studies (IES) to explore to what extent the advanced practitioner role was beneficial to the development of practitioners, and useful in the improvement of TLA, as there was limited current research available at that time.

What is this about and what were the main findings:

The summary report and 18 case studies outline the use and perceived impact of advanced practitioners to date, highlight effective practice, and provide practical illustrations and learning points for others seeking more effective ways to work with teachers, coaches, assessors and trainers to develop their practice.
