This resource comprises the report and resources developed by the Equality and Diversity Partnership Project led by Telford College of Arts & Technology in 2009-10.
Through this project, a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGB&T) student group was formed to explore barriers experienced by LGB&T young people within the learning and skills environment. The group undertook a survey on attitudes towards sexual orientation and gender identity within the college community and produced a toolkit for lecturers to explore relevant issues in tutorials. The project also worked with stakeholders to examine hate crime. The resources included are the final report and the student survey results.
