This set of resources relates to one of nine projects focusing on developing Apprenticeships, employer responsiveness and pre-employment provision. The projects designed, piloted and delivered activity in one or more of the above strands, including workshops, study or exchange visits, coaching and mentoring, consultancy and the development of self assessment tools. AoC-Create’s project was established in response to the Young and Unwin reports, both of which identified that a different approach to skills and enterprise, to meet the needs of all potential and existing learners or employers, was needed. AoC-Create developed and piloted an online self-assessment tool for providers to self-assess their readiness to undertake employer responsive provision, provided a written report and coaching support to follow up on the self-assessment tool and delivered webinars to provide information and ideas for service improvement.
