This set of resources relates to one of nine projects focusing on developing Apprenticeships, employer responsiveness and pre-employment provision. The projects designed, piloted and delivered activity in one or more of the above strands, including workshops, study or exchange visits, coaching and mentoring, consultancy and the development of self assessment tools. This project built on an earlier project which focused on increasing Apprenticeship uptake. The aim of the original project was to support providers within the sector to give effective feedback to unsuccessful Apprenticeship applicants, so that candidates would be able to improve their future applications and therefore increase their chances of securing employment. This project further developed and piloted a suite of guidance materials to support the sector with this new way of working and produced materials to increase the quality and consistency of feedback provided to apprentice applicants.
